Concussion Clinic
The Matthew Gfeller Center hosts a weekly concussion clinic at the UNC THRIVE Program clinic. Those who have sustained a sport-related concussion, and whose current symptoms have lasted for more than 3 weeks since the injury are eligible to attend our concussion clinic. We use a multimodal approach for diagnosing concussion related symptoms and devise an appropriate individualized treatment plan. Our team consists of athletic trainers, graduate students in Human Movement Science, and Physicians.
All concussion clinic appointments should be scheduled through Tyrell Baggett at the UNC THRIVE Program clinic. Tyrell will collect all insurance and basic injury information during the initial phone conversation and schedule your appointment.
